Dr. Eric Johnson
Owner & Veterinarian
Dr. Johnson's love for animals took him from Colorado State University, where he completed his undergraduate degree, to the University of Florida, where he earned both his master's and veterinary degrees. He has been practicing veterinary medicine for more than 15 years — starting out as an equine vet before building extensive experience in emergency medicine and general practice.
He has been nominated for Bethpage's Long Island's Best Veterinarian in 2021, 2022, and 2026. His guiding passion has always been holding veterinary medicine to a higher standard while keeping the focus on what's best for the patient — a passion that led him to found Premier Home Vet Care, bringing quality veterinary care directly to patients without the added stress of a hospital visit.
Outside of work, Dr. Johnson spends his time with his wife, their two children, three dogs, and two cats — always looking for an excuse to get the family and the dogs outside.

Will
Veterinary Technician
Will has spent the past sixteen years in veterinary medicine, starting out as a kennel assistant before graduating from LaGuardia Community College's Veterinary Technology program in 2017. He completed his internship at BluePearl in Manhattan, where he was later offered a technician position in the ICU, emergency, and critical care departments. He then joined Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists as a surgery technician, gaining additional experience in ICU, emergency medicine, oncology, and cardiology.
Geanna
Veterinary Technician
Geanna is a dedicated and compassionate veterinary technician with six years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine. She graduated from Suffolk County Community College with a degree in Veterinary Technology and has built extensive hands-on experience in fast-paced emergency and critical care settings.
Skilled in patient assessment, emergency treatment, and client communication, Geanna is known for staying calm under pressure, advocating for animal welfare, and offering compassionate support to both patients and their owners during difficult moments.
Scott
Veterinary Assistant
Scott has been working in the veterinary field for 12 years and has loved every moment of it. His favorite part is making both the animals and their owners feel like they're getting the attention and care they truly deserve. Outside of work, he enjoys playing nerdy games, going to concerts, and spoiling his dog Celica.
Kristi
Veterinary Assistant
Kristi grew up in Queens and began her animal care career in 2013 as a dog and cat groomer and salon manager. After moving to Suffolk County, she discovered a passion for veterinary medicine and has spent more than six years at Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists in Bohemia, working in the Neurology department while pursuing her veterinary technology degree. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her son William, her beagle mix Copper, and her cat Shelley — and you'll often find her cheering on the New York Rangers or out surfing.
